Thanks for visiting the Blue House!
My name is Jenn, but you can call me the Soap Lady!
Six years ago, with the impending birth of my first child, we made a switch to using all natural products in our home. Years down the road, making the leap to actually hand-crafting those products on my own seemed like a natural progression.
The Original Blue House sits on a little piece of paradise just outside of Shelburne Ontario. We've since moved, just down the road and down into the valley in Dunedin Ontario, to another paradise of its own kind. We bought a converted barn built in the 1800's...which, as it turns out, underneath the cedar shingled siding that the previous owners added...lies a Blue Barn! The Blue House lives!
I share the paradise with my husband Steve, my two boys, a crazy Standard Poodle named Dudley. I also (over) share some of our adventures on our Family/Soap blog - Elemental. Pop over and say hello!
I hope you enjoy looking around, but more than anything, I hope you enjoy the soaps. Making the switch to handmade, all natural soaps is something I promise you won't regret!
